ASME Standards & Certification
ASME is a non-profit organization that develops standards and codes for the mechanical engineering industry. ASME standards or ASME codes are guidelines that aim to improve quality, safety, and reliability. Getting ASME Certification helps companies comply with regulations, achieve process efficiencies, and increase product’s quality and safety. ASME standards are accepted for use in more than 100 countries around the world.

ASME’s Conformity Assessment (CA) Certification and Accreditation programs have helped leverage the playing field for many businesses, enabling them to enter new markets, compete, and win. ASME's CA is the leading, universally recognized, independent Quality Assurance (QA) program.

Why Swiss Approval?
Swiss Approval As an ASME AIA
An Authorized Inspection Agency (AIA) is an organization that meets the qualification requirements and performs duties specified in ASME QAI-1standard. An AIA is accredited by the ASME Society to perform authorized inspections under an ASME standard. AIAs are responsible for performing ASME inspections during the manufacturing process. Swiss Approval is an accredited inspection body with ASME identification number 144, and Swiss Approval's ASME experts are qualified ASME Commissioned Inspectors and Supervisors qualifying with the following rules:

National Board Inspector Commission and Endorsement – AI, IS, B, N, R.

AI Authorized Inspector Commission

IS Inservice Inspector Commission

B Authorized Inspector Supervisor Endorsement

N Authorized Nuclear Inspector Endorsement

R Repair Inspector Endorsement

The National Board Authorized Inspector Commission is issued to individuals who have been qualified to perform inspections of boilers and pressure vessels, as required by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (ASME B&PV Code).
Endorsements are specialized qualifications that are issued to Authorized Inspectors/Inservice Inspectors who are qualified to perform duties in accordance with the ASME B&PV Code or the National Board Inspection Code (NBIC).
Swiss Approval’s ASME experts can review your company’s product from the design and to inspection & certification process.
Steps for ASME Certification

1.Consult with ASME Supervisor in Swiss Approval and decide on scope work that will be certified by ASME. It is important to reduce your cost by preventing inaccurate decision making of Certification.

2.Prepare the application for Conformity Assessment

3.Once all the process is implemented, a certificate will be issued.
